ISM High School Play 2020-21
International School Manila's 2020-21High School Play Ride the Sky premiered on Monday, January 18th, 2021. Due to the pandemic, classes have been online since March 2020 so the play was devised entirely on Zoom. In addition, students composed original music and supported the post production process in many ways. Rather than focus on the difficulties with this process, the cast and crew decided to embrace the challenges and create a piece perfectly suited to the format. The end result is a 6-episode limited series focusing on the lives of a group of teenagers on a journey of discovery during the pandemic as they play online Dungeons and Dragons.

EPISODE 1: EmberwOOD
Dungeon masters AJ and Charlie form their D&D teams and lead them into the imaginary world of Emberwood, where they embark on their quest.
EPISODE 2:
Lake Angeles
The Emberwood party gets its first taste of the dangers ahead. Meanwhile, relationships evolve in and outside the game.
EPISODE 3:
THe cult
In a forest clearing, The Emberwood party discovers new adversaries, discords, and alliances.
EPISODE 4:
HIDEOUT
The Emberwood party spends the night at a hideout getting to know each other before entering another hideout of a completely different nature!
EPISODE 5:
Dungeon of scars
The characters face off, individually and together, against unexpected dark forces.
EPISODE 6:
THE FINAL BATTLE
After a dreadful setback, the party must draw on all their resources to defeat the fog, and the players reflect on the campaign.
