IASAS Art & Film 2022

IASAS Art & Film is a wonderful opportunity for student artists and film makers to come together to learn from both professionals and each other. ISM hosted the 5 other IASAS schools (International School Bangkok, International School Kuala Lumpur, Jakarta Intercultural School, Singapore American School and Taipei American School), with each school bringing 8 Art Delegates and 8 Film to attend a mix of workshops and film screenings. The schools also bring premade work to share with each other, which they spend time discussing and celebrating. IASAS Art & Film 2021
November 11th-13th, 2021
IASAS Art 2021 was again run virtually, this time hosted by International School Bangkok. The 6 IASAS schools collaborated and attended a variety of workshops via Zoom. Here is the link to the convention website, which contains details about the guest artists who worked with students:
Prior to the convention, students worked on pieces to share via a virtual exhibition, which they then spent time critiquing together and learning from. IASAS Art 2020
Due to the ongoing pandemic, this year's IASAS Art was hosted virtually by TAS from November 21st to 22nd. There are usually two parts to IASAS Art: students make artworks prior to the festival to represent their school. The second part takes place once all art delegates with their artworks to hang an exhibition in one of the IASAS schools and join together for workshops. However, this year students collaborated on a virtual exhibition and then did art-in-a-box challenges before reflecting via Zoom on both sets of works. Here are the final Art-in-a-Box projects created by ISM IASAS Art delegates over the IASAS Art 2020 weekend. Students were provided a box of resources and completed the pieces according to the art challenge prompts provided from home.
